How to choose an evening dress
Choosing an evening dress starts with the silhouette, not the colour. The A-line is the most universal and flatters almost every figure; the mermaid accentuates curves; the ball gown emphasises the waist and adds volume. Fabric and detail come next — satin reads denser and more structured, beaded tulle catches the light, lace softens the line. You can try on as many styles as you like, and alterations happen in our own atelier.

How much does a prom dress cost in Sofia?
Prices for prom and evening dresses at Areti depend on the style and craftsmanship — ask when booking, as stock changes each season. Every price includes a stylist consultation and unlimited try-ons.
When should I choose my prom dress?
We recommend 3–4 months before the ball. The most popular styles and sizes go first, and alterations need another 1–2 weeks. For May–June proms, February is the comfortable time to come in.
Which evening dress suits my figure?
The A-line is universal and flatters almost every figure. The mermaid accentuates curves for a bolder look. The ball gown emphasises the waist and adds volume. Trying all three in person is the fastest way to tell.
Do you alter evening dresses?
Yes — alterations are done in our own atelier by the same seamstress who works on the bridal gowns. Shortening, taking in or adjusting straps takes 1–2 weeks.

Yes. Much of the evening collection works for weddings as a guest, christenings or formal dinners — more discreet colours and cuts that never compete with the bride.
